GVA Acuity provides corporate office refurbishment services to those clients who wish to update and refresh their commercial office space.
The GVA Acuity Project Management team can initially undertake workplace consultancy services; a feasibility, space planning or workplace study will be implemented to assess the requirements of the client and available options, prior to assessing the costs of the proposed project.
A nominated Project Manager will liaise with the clients own Facilities Management, Real Estate and supplier teams to ensure that the capabilities of the building space and in-house facilities are assessed and can draw on own experience and the wealth of expert knowledge provided by the GVA Acuity team and the various GVA group disciplines, such as Building Surveying to Sustainability services.
This information can be collated into a report to the client with various proposed options, from utilising and adapting current occupied office space based on a limited budget to completing the ‘stripping-out’ of a portfolio of buildings and completing the design, price-work, management, supervision and construction work.
Cost options and procurement of related construction services can be completed by the GVA Acuity team to advising on whether the proposed project work should be completed whilst the client is in-situ/ occupation or whether the business would be disrupted and therefore, should relocated to an alternative space. The GVA team can assist in locating additional rental space and securing competitive rates and rental costs.
Project Management advice regarding Space planning, Information Technology (IT) and Telecommunications (Telecoms), Mechanical & Engineering, Health and Safety Project strategy, Project timelines and Schedules are all part of the Project Management strategy services provided by the team, in the refurbishment process.
Additional guidance and advise can also be provided on the procurement of fixtures and fittings, furniture, assets and chattels, interior design, corporate art works and decorative features, particularly for luxury refurbishment projects.
The GVA Acuity team can also advise and guide the client on the physical ‘change or moves management’ that is required to physically move the staff and business to ensure that the project is completed with the most limited amount of downtime to the business.
GVA Acuity has completed many refurbishment and fit-out projects and within many different sectors, from Blue-Chip companies to Creative and Cultural organisations and as a result, the team are experienced and flexible in their approach to construction and refurbishment projects.
