Brindleyplace, Birmingham

GVA provided initial development consultancy, investment and agency advice through planning and detailed design stages of individual buildings at Brindleyplace. GVA has been responsible for the office letting strategy, reducing voids and increasing the rental income across the estate. The scheme comprises in excess of 88,905 sq m of Grade A office space in eleven buildings, and a range of retail and leisure accommodation which GVA manages. We also manage the very busy destination marketing programme which includes a major events calendar, commercialisation and all external communications.

The Mailbox, Birmingham

We acted as development consultant and leasing agents for 210,000 sq ft of office space and were involved in the initial mixed use development consultancy phase before helping to secure lettings to Railtrack plc, BBC, Cable and Wireless and Telewest plc. Our involvement has continued and in 2011, acting for developer, Chatham Billingham, we jointly disposed of the 640,000 sq ft mixed-use scheme to Brockton Capital, achieving a sale price of £127 million - the largest regional investment transaction in 2011.

Eastside, Birmingham

GVA were lead advisors on attaining an outline planning consent for Goodman’s 1 million sq ft proposed Eastside Locks scheme adjacent to the proposed new City Park and High Speed 2 Rail Station. GVA are also retained as commercial and residential agents for the development which comprises a broad mix of office, residential, retail and leisure accommodation partly within a conservation area and which includes the refurbishment of the former Co-Op building.

Longbridge Town Centre, Birmingham

GVA has been retained on this key development to provide a multi-disciplinary solution including office agency, Industrial agency, Rating, Valuation, Property Management and Planning advice. The £750 million regeneration of the former Rover Longbridge site is one of the largest regeneration projects in the West Midlands and is expected to provide 10,000 new jobs, over 1,980 new homes and a new town centre with a range of retail, leisure and public facilities.
