The largest industrial letting in Scotland this year has seen a packaging firm take 120,000 sq. ft. in the outskirts of Glasgow.

Fast-growing Scottish firm the UPAC Group has signed a 15-year lease to let the site, on Barfillan Drive, Cardonald. Leading commercial property advisory GVA acted on behalf of the landlord, John R Adam & Sons Limited. GVA say the deal is a sign of the good health of the industrial market this year.

A prime building in the heart of Glasgow has changed hands in a multi-million-pound deal.

Investment group The Topland Group has purchased 8 Nelson Mandela Place in the city centre for c £11.1m from Patrizia UK.

The building comprises 60,756 sq. ft. and other than the bottom floor, which is a blood donation centre, is used for offices. Tenants within the property include NHS, Waterman Group, Audit Scotland, Fraser Nash, Softcat and Rathbone Brothers.
