GVA and PRSim have announced a new strategic partnership to provide the first fully integrated Build-to-Rent (BTR) service.
The partnership will combine the consultancy and operational residential management business of PRSim, with GVA’s expertise advising BTR investment strategies, funding, valuations, planning, project management and agency transactions.
The partnership will provide those with interests in professionally managed BTR schemes with end-to-end expertise at every stage of the process from finding viable sites and development opportunities, through to ongoing management.
Alastair Carmichael, GVA, said: “As an emerging asset class with different dynamics to traditional real estate sectors, an innovative approach to BTR is required. Successful professionally managed BTR schemes are delivered through the integration of different inputs and skills through the strategy formulation, funding, design, development, construction and management stages. The GVA and PRSim partnership provides a ‘package of intelligence’ across all of the entire PRS lifecycle.
“The UK residential industry is seeing a revolution. Market demand and demographic changes are driving the growth of institutionally funded BTR schemes.”
The partnership will help to bring forward residential schemes in the places they are most needed. The partnership is a national service operating across the UK which meets the requirements of different PRS markets.
Commenting David Bond, PRSim, Head of PRS & Build to Rent, said: “As one of the UK’s leading property companies with a rich heritage in residential property lettings, LSL has made a commitment to deliver superior services to the institutional PRS sector with the launch of PRSim. By adopting a strategic partnership with GVA, we believe this will further deliver unrivalled services to the sector that until now has simply not been available.”
