Derick Jackson, who heads up GVA’s Property Management department in Newcastle has been promoted to Senior Director.
Derick, who has worked for GVA for 18 years is renowned for being quick to take on new opportunities and ideas, and for his approach with some of the firm’s key clients and projects including Ares, Moorfield and Taras Properties.

Derick was recognised last year for his voluntary youth work and fundraising achievements with an invitation to the Queen’s Garden Party. He has taken on several epic challenges for St Oswald’s Hospice, including climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, scaling the Eyjafjallajökull Volcano in Iceland, trekking along 100 miles of the Great Wall of China and most recently as a contestant, with his partner Laura in a “Strictly Come Dancing” fund raising event for St Cuthbert’s Hospice in Durham.
