GVA heads to MIPIM 2017 next week to unveil ‘Evolving UK Cities’.
The company’s headline initiative will see GVA launch a series of reports at the annual summit. Each report will look at how the UK’s key cities are evolving and the transformational change that is occurring, either in terms of the scale of regeneration activity or a shift in perception in Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool and Newcastle.
GVA will send a delegation of over 40 real estate professionals, representing a broad cross-section of its UK business.
Accompanied by Apleona GVA colleagues and GVA Worldwide affiliates, the leading real estate adviser will be at stand R7.G24 in the Palais de Festivals in Cannes, from 14 – 17 March.
In addition to GVA’s headline Evolving UK Cities focus, the company will also unveil a separate research report entitled ‘London: Where we work’.
This latter report will focus on the changing nature of office demand and its effect on central London’s submarkets. The report will be launched by Patrick O’Keeffe, Head of City and West End Office Agency and Investment at GVA, on the London Stand at 1030 on Tuesday 14 March.
GVA will host and speak at a range of presentations and panel events. Jerry Freeman, Senior Director in Development will discuss ‘London’s towns – creating the right mix’ on the London stand at 1130 on Tuesday 14 March and Ian Stringer, Regional Senior Director of GVA in Birmingham will consider ‘Creating global cities of the future’ on the Midlands stand at 1630 on the same day.
Following the success of events at MIPIM 2016, GVA will again host the UK Investment Breakfast with the BPF at 0830 on Wednesday 15 March at The Carlton Hotel. Neil Dovey, Head of Investment at GVA will present the results of a second Brexit sentiment survey, building on last year’s findings. At 0930 at the Majestic Hotel, David Sayer, Director in Land and Development will speak at a Liverpool Waters and Wirral Waters presentation hosted by Peel Holdings and Liverpool Vision. The event will highlight current and forthcoming activity and developments within both waterfront projects.
