Holyrood Communications has relocated from Holyrood Road to new premises at Panmure Court in Calton Road in Edinburgh.
Mandy Rhodes, managing director of the company which runs policy events and is the publisher of the award-winning current affairs magazine Holyrood, was keen to move from premises spread over two floors to an open plan office in an area close to the Scottish parliament.
"We’re delighted with our new offices in Calton Road. We are in even closer proximity to the parliament at Holyrood and therefore at the heart of Scottish politics. It’s an exciting time for the company and I’m looking forward to having all the staff on one floor in a bright, modern environment. We’re also very happy to welcome any passing politician in for a cup of tea and a light grilling!”
Peter Fraser, associate director Bilfinger GVA, advised the company on the rental of 2,600 sq ft at Panmure Court which is owned by Unite Students who provide accommodation for students across the UK and were represented by Ryden in this transaction. “The Panmure Court development comprises three commercial units at ground floor with student housing above. Holyrood Communications’ move sees the development fully occupied and they join Shaw Marketing and Unite themselves who occupy the other offices. This part of town is becoming something of a media hub with PR companies Message Matters and the BIG Partnership also located in Calton Road."
