Horizon 38 open for businesses

With the first phase of Horizon 38 in Bristol completing in July and the construction of the access roads due for completion in August, we thought this would be a good time to send out a drone to show the progress to date.
The first phase is ready for occupation and consists of 5 units ranging from 21,400 sq ft to 63,000 sq ft with a further 115,500 sq ft unit currently under construction.
GVA are industrial agents to Horizon 38, a landmark strategic development site, directly fronting onto the A38 in Filton near the former Filton airfield, Airbus and Rolls- Royce engines manufacturing plant. It sits within the Filton Enterprise Area - the largest and most significant regeneration and inward investment project in the south west and just 3 miles from Bristol city centre and less than 2 miles from the M5.
In total 580,000 sq ft of industrial, logistics and manufacturing space is being built at Horizon 38 in four phases - funded by BP pension Fund. These units will range from smaller trade counters starting at 3,800 sq ft to a 115,500 sq ft distribution centre. Selco have already agreed a lease on a purpose built 35,000 sq ft trade counter unit onsite.
In addition to the speculative industrial, logistics and manufacturing development there is a further 25 acres of development land earmarked for mixed use commercial opportunities. Already agreed is a sale to Village Hotels for the construction of a 153 bedroom 4* hotel on the corner site. The site has potential for high profile car showroom development and we have received significant interest for this use.
