Leading UK commercial real estate adviser Bilfinger GVA has advised Aberdeen Asset Management on the sale of a Leeds city centre building occupied by Argentinian eaterie Gaucho.

21/22 Park Row has been acquired by a private London based investor for £1.77m, reflecting a net initial yield of 5.85%.

James Yates, principal surveyor, investment, at Bilfinger GVA in Leeds, said: “Private Investors around this lot size are increasingly focusing on northern towns and cities as they offer quality stock and value that is more difficult to find in London.”

The deal will have no impact on the Leeds operation of Gaucho, which also has restaurants in Dubai and Hong Kong.
