Bilfinger GVA has made two key additions to its Yorkshire agency team following a period of growth for the leading commercial real estate adviser.

Jake Pygall has joined Bilfinger GVA’s Leeds-based Industrial and Distribution team.

Mr Pygall joins as a surveyor from Ryden LLP and will work closely with industrial director Rob Oliver to strengthen all aspects of the industrial markets Bilfinger GVA operates in.

He said: “I am thrilled to join the Bilfinger GVA Yorkshire office. The industrial property sector shows no signs of slowing down and is an extremely interesting sector to be involved in.

“The industrial and distribution market boasts a wide variety of occupiers, who continue to show a healthy demand.”

Chris Brooksbank has also joined, building Bilfinger GVA’s offer, focusing on the office sector.

Bilfinger GVA Yorkshire has a well-established graduate development programme and Mr Brooksbank is the latest addition to this talent pipeline.

Mr Brooksbank joins the team after graduating from Northumbria University with a degree in Real Estate. He worked part-time at Bilfinger GVA in Leeds during his degree which led to his recent hiring.

“It was extremely fortunate that, during my time at university, I had the opportunity to gain real experience and work so closely with director Matthew Tootell,” he said.

“I am delighted to be able to continue working with Matthew and the team. Bilfinger GVA is a market leading organisation; I thoroughly enjoy being part of the team and sharing its vision.”

Ben Hall, regional senior director at Bilfinger GVA in Yorkshire, added: “Our performance in Yorkshire is providing us with a strong platform from which to continue our growth across agency and consultancy services and these appointments will only add to this success.

“Any business is only as strong as its people and we’re privileged to have such a talented and committed group working from our Leeds base and making a real difference not only across the region but beyond.

“What’s really setting us apart from the competition is our multi-disciplinary approach to projects and broad range of work across both the public and private sectors and these appointments are a further testament to this.”
