GVA has identified in previous work carried out for Warwickshire County Council (WCC) that the establishment of an Innovation Centre within the north of the county had a number of benefits and met many economic and social policy aspirations.
As a consequence GVA were instructed to advise upon an appropriate model for development and locations within which the facility could be instructed.
With a very limited budget to assist the implementation, WCC were reliant on third party funding and GVA were also engaged to advise upon appropriate public or private sector joint venture partners which were able to facilitate development of the project.

How GVA added value
In partnership with WCC, GVA provided advice on the necessary public sector procedures, and the working forward of a scheme and joint venture arrangements together with site acquisition options to ensure a succesful ERDF application and full funding was obtained, to enable delivery of the building.
