Brindleyplace is recognised as one of, if not the premier, provincial mixed use developments in the UK and is revered as a model example of large scale city centre urban regeneration.

The scheme was developed by Argent and now virtually completed, extends to in excess of one million sq ft.

Services provided

  • Development consultancy, investment and agency advice through planning and detailed design stages of individual buildings.
  • Leasing advice and implementation, and subsequent investment disposal of individually completed and fully let buildings.
  • Full estate management service including employment of all on site personnel at strategic and operational levels. Building management on certain buildings.

How GVA added value

Commencing in 1994 and ongoing since then, GVA has helped attract top quality office occupiers such as British Telecom, Lloyds Bank plc, Deloitte & Touche LLP, The Royal Bank of Scotland Group and Deutsche Bank to the extent that approaching one million sq ft of office accommodation is now virtually fully occupied. The last speculative office building, Eleven Brindleyplace, is currently under construction and due for completion in March 2009.

GVA has worked with Argent, the development scheme asset manager, throughout the whole life of the project and collectively continues to add value by ongoing strategic and operational management to the current owner, The Brindleyplace Limited Partnership and through improvements to services to tenants and occupiers alike.

The Brindleyplace Limited Partnership includes the highest ever private investor equity placing into a single asset property related limited partnership vehicle in the UK.
