GVA has bolstered its hotel valuations offer with the appointments of Ian Elliott and Jon Critchley to its Retail, Hotels and Leisure team. Ian and Jon both join from Knight Frank.
Ian joins GVA as a Senior Director, having worked as head of the Valuation and Consultancy team of Knight Frank's Hotels and Leisure Department since 2005. Prior to this, Ian ran the London Valuation Service team at Christie & Co. where he specialised in the valuation of licensed premises, including restaurants, hotels, pubs and healthcare properties.
Jon joins GVA as a Director, having worked alongside Ian at Knight Frank since October 2013. Prior to this, he spent three years at CBRE Hotels where he specialised in single asset and portfolio valuations across Europe. His key areas of expertise are strategic portfolio advice, investment valuations and prime regional UK hotels.
Gavin Brent, GVA’s National Head of Retail, Hotels and Leisure said: "As investor demand for UK hotels continues, the appointment of Ian and Jon to GVA will further bolster our platform to provide market-leading advice to our clients and increase our growing market share of this vital leisure sub-sector.”
“The UK hotel market has grown increasingly popular with investors in spite of Brexit uncertainties, with rising returns and investment values bringing more markets and areas into consideration as viable development projects. We predict this market will remain strong in London, Manchester and many of the UK’s key regional cities in 2018.”
