Leading real estate advisor, GVA, has been appointed to Manchester City Council’s Valuation and Property Professional Services Framework.

Under the framework, GVA will provide a number of specialist services, including property advisory support and landlord and tenant advice.

Offering a comprehensive resource, the GVA team will also guide the council on property acquisitions, as well as disposals and valuations.

Covering all areas of Manchester, the contract will run for a period of four years, beginning August 2018.

GVA joins five other consultants on the council framework.

Jonathan Stanlake at GVA said: “We have a longstanding relationship with Manchester City Council and extensive experience in working with the public sector. By drawing on our knowledge of Manchester and expertise within the property sector, we’re looking forward to playing an active role in shaping the future of the city.

“As well as delivering day-to-day support to Manchester City Council, we’ll be providing a strategic view that will allow the local authority to get the most out of its existing property assets and new acquisitions.”
