Also in this edition is our half yearly review of the UK occupier and investment big shed market. Modern big shed take-up during H1 was dominated by a record level of retail activity, totalling an exceptional 16.1 million sq ft, a third above average.
Supply levels are increasing but will remain relatively constrained due to robust occupier demand. Current availability of modern big sheds amounts to 25.3 million sq ft, approximately 14 months’ supply.
